2. Present Continuous: Subject + am/is/are + being + noun/adjective
3. Present Perfect: Subject + has/have + been + noun/adjective
4. Present Perfect Continuous: Subject + has/have + been being + adjective

Examples:
  • Simple Present
    Affirmative: She is a doctor. → वह डॉक्टर है।
    Negative: She is not a doctor. → वह डॉक्टर नहीं है।
    Interrogative: Is she a doctor? → क्या वह डॉक्टर है।
    Wh‑Question: Who is she? → वह कौन है।
    Wh‑Negative: Why isn’t she a doctor? → वह डॉक्टर क्यों नहीं है।

  • Present Continuous
    Affirmative: He is being polite. → वह विनम्र हो रहा है।
    Negative: He is not being polite. → वह विनम्र नहीं हो रहा है।
    Interrogative: Is he being polite? → क्या वह विनम्र हो रहा है।
    Wh‑Question: Why is he being polite? → वह विनम्र क्यों हो रहा है।
    Wh‑Negative: Why isn’t he being polite? → वह विनम्र क्यों नहीं हो रहा है।

  • He is being polite
    - "Being polite" का मतलब है वर्तमान में वह शिष्टाचार दिखा रहा है। - यह continuous tense है, यानी अभी इस समय वह polite व्यवहार कर रहा है।
    - Example: He is being polite to the teacher. → अभी वह शिक्षक से विनम्रता से बात कर रहा है।

    He is getting polite
    - "Getting polite" का मतलब है वह धीरे-धीरे polite बन रहा है। - यह change या process को दिखाता है।
    - Example: He is getting polite these days. → इन दिनों वह पहले से ज्यादा विनम्र होता जा रहा है।

  • Present Perfect
    Affirmative: They have been friends for years. → वे वर्षों से दोस्त रहे हैं।

    Interrogative: Have they been friends? → क्या वे दोस्त रहे हैं।
    Wh‑Question: How long have they been friends? → वे कितने समय से दोस्त रहे हैं।
    Wh‑Negative: Why haven’t they been friends? → वे दोस्त क्यों नहीं रहे हैं।

  • He has been a friend for two years
    - यह Present Perfect Continuous / Present Perfect का प्रयोग है। - मतलब: वह पिछले दो साल से दोस्त है और अभी भी दोस्त है। - यह relationship की continuity दिखाता है।
    - Example: He has been my friend for two years. → वह दो साल से मेरा दोस्त है और अभी भी है।

He has got a friend for two years
    - यह वाक्य grammatically सही नहीं है। - "Has got" का प्रयोग ownership या possession दिखाने के लिए होता है (जैसे He has got a car = उसके पास कार है)। - लेकिन "for two years" के साथ इसे जोड़ना गलत है, क्योंकि दोस्ती कोई possession नहीं है जिसे समय के साथ रखा जाए।

    Wh‑Negative: Why hasn’t she been being careful? → वह लगातार सावधान क्यों नहीं रही है।
  • 1. He has been being careless
    - यह structure grammatically possible है लेकिन बहुत rarely use होता है। - इसका मतलब है: वह लगातार careless व्यवहार करता आ रहा है (past से अब तक)।
    - Example: He has been being careless in his work for months. → वह महीनों से अपने काम में लापरवाह बना हुआ है। - लेकिन English में लोग आमतौर पर इसे avoid करते हैं क्योंकि यह awkward लगता है।
ज़्यादा natural होगा: He has been careless for months.

    2. He has been getting careless
    - यह बहुत natural और common है। - इसका मतलब है: वह धीरे-धीरे careless होता जा रहा है (change/process दिखाता है)।
